Our morning classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. for lunch. Afternoon classes begin at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m.
KinderKollege provides parents with the flexibility of before and after school programs at no additional cost. These extended hours allow parents to drop-off students as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick-up as late as 5:30 p.m.
Students must pack their lunch, to be eaten at school each day. We provide all students with a nutritious snack both morning and afternoon. We believe good nutrition is important fuel for learning, so we provide these at no additional charge.
Yes, we are a private school and as such, follow the same guidelines, curriculum standards and regulations as any other public, private or separate school in the province of Ontario.
Our teachers are uniquely qualified in the education and care of young children. Our instructors have met the strict guidelines required by the Ministry of Education.
All instructors are qualified to teach Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 in the province of Ontario. With degrees in Child Development and Education, as well as an O.T.C. and combined, over 40 years experience in the education and care of children.
No, students are permitted to wear "street clothes" which must be comfortable and appropriate for the classroom and playground.
At KinderKollege, we offer full-day Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten and Grades 1-8. To be eligible for Junior Kindergarten, a student must be 4 years old or turn 4 by December 31st of the year they enroll. For a child to be eligible for the Primary Program, a student must be 6 years old or turn 6 by December 31st to enroll in Grade 1.
